The Assessing Department keeps records on all properties including land and buildings. If you have any questions regarding your assessment, they will be glad to help.

Residents and taxpayers who need to submit Property Transfer Affidavits and/or Principal Residence Exemption Affidavits to the Assessing Department can drop them off in-person or mail the forms to the City of Novi at:

Please make sure all forms are completely filled out, including a phone number and signature.  If mailing the forms, you can include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and we will mail date-stamped copies to you. 
 
For after-hours drop-offs, there is a gray drop box located on the east side of the Civic Center’s south parking lot (near the police station).  The box is indicated with a sign that reads “Assessing Forms”.
