Accessing nutritious meals can be a challenge for many older adults. Older Adult Services works to make access to meals easier – at home or in the community. Meals on Wheels helps homebound seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals. It can be an absolutely essential service by providing a hot meal, a friendly visitor and someone to check in on them in their home every weekday. At the Meadowbrook Activity Center, Daily Lunch is served Monday thru Friday, 11:45am-12:30pm.

Daily Lunch

Food, Fun and Friends! Hot meal or sack lunch, your choice. The Daily Lunch program is a great opportunity to socialize with peers, enjoy a nutritious meal and meet new friends. Lunch Reservations:  Call Western Oakland Meals on Wheels at 248.347.0489, to make or cancel lunch reservations 24 hours in advance, Monday-Friday by noon.  Please leave a message.

Home Delivered Meals on Wheels

It's a great way to continue to get a nutritious and healthy meal and maintain your independence. You're eligible for Meals on Wheels delivery, if you are 60+ and are unable to obtain or prepare meals.
