Description:
In cooperation with the Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA), the City is moving forward with a plan to make significant improvements to the existing sidewalk, lighting, and road pavement on both the east-west and north-south portions of Main Street, from Grand River Avenue to Novi Road.
Traffic Control/Detours:
No detours will be necessary for this project, though it may involve short, temporary lane closures at specific work areas. These lane closures will be protected by traffic cones, barrels, and flagging personnel while work is actively in progress.
Progress:
7/8/2026: The City is finalizing plans and specifications with the CIA for approval and looking to go out to bid by the end of this month.
