The Roads and Drains Section mission is to ensure the safety of Novi residents and guests through maintenance of the local road network, and the storm water drainage system throughout of the City of Novi.
The Roads and Drains Section provides proactive maintenance and repair to a network of 183 miles of major roads and neighborhood streets and 256 miles of sidewalks and multi-use pathways. They investigate residential storm water issues and work to maintain a highly efficient storm water drainage system as regulated by the Oakland County Storm Water Permit and MDEQ.

Storm Drains and Catch Basins
Please do not leave yard debris such as leaves, limbs, trash, etc. in the roadway that could be washed into your storm drains or catch basins. This is the main cause of flooding issues in your neighborhood.
