AUDIENCE COMMENT – In order to hear all citizen comments at a reasonable hour, the City Council requests that speakers respect the three-minute time limit for individual comments and the five-minute time limit for an individual speaking on behalf of a group.  This is not a question-answer session, however, it is an opportunity to voice your thoughts with City Council.

CONSENT AGENDA REMOVALS AND APPROVALS (See items A-H) All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the normal Agenda.

1. Approval to award the construction contract for the purchase and installation of playgrounds at Lakeshore Park & Rotary Park, to Superior Play LLC, in the amount of $150,000.

B. Approval to award contract for the 2013 Spring Tree & Landscaping Planting to R.C. Tuttle Refinishing Co., the lowest bidder in the amount of $41,490.

C. Approval to award a Generator Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service contract to American Generators Sales & Service, LLC, the lowest responding firm, for an estimated annual amount of $31,970 ($15,070 for preventive maintenance and $16,900 for repairs). The term of the contract is one year with two one-year renewal options.

D. Approval of Resolution to close Ten Mile Road from the Novi Civic Center to Taft Road and Taft Road to Nine Mile from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) of Detroit’s Festival of the Chariots Parade on Saturday, July 20, 2013.
