The City of Novi purchased the 3.64-acre parcel of property at the intersection of Novi Road and Trans-X Drive in 2017. Restoration of the iconic Novi water tower was completed in 2021 with donation of the paint from PPG Protective & Marine Coatings (PPG).
The R/C Raceway Track was constructed in spring of 2022. The track is open to 1/8 scale and smaller battery powered R/C models from dawn to dusk May 1 – November 1. A port-a-john is available on-site seasonally.

No. Bring a quiet generator or power bank or charge off your vehicle battery.
Is there a fee for open practice?
No open practice is free but there is an entry fee on race days.
Is the track open to the public?
Yes. Everyone is welcome!
Is nitro allowed?
Nitro is allowed on Wednesdays from 11am am to 7pm and at city approved events only.
What kind of tires should I run?
A medium long wear compound with a tight pin or bar pattern will offer the best balance of traction and wear, but almost anything works well.
