REMARKS FROM THE CHAIRPERSON
Chairperson Gurumurthy will introduce and welcome Kelly Parker of MetroNet. Ms. Parker will be presenting on behalf of MetroNet. Metronet is a fiber company that has recently expanded its service into the City of Novi.
MATTERS FOR COMMITTEE DISCUSSION
1. GLWA (14 Mile 42-inch Water Main Project)
a. Request for a 30-minute meeting with GLWA in early March to check project status and progress - Zoom/in-person updates
b. Weekly updates from GLWA as the project advances.
c. Review project plan and latest GLWA update.
d. City interaction with GLWA as it relates to the project.
2. DTE
a. Prepare questions for the March meeting with DTE.
b. Short-term goal:
i. Provide the committee, as it relates to the December 2025 outage incident, the root cause of the outage, the number of affected customers, and both the short-term and long-term corrective actions.
ii. Work with DTE to obtain, at a regular cadence, the data sets like those provided to Farmington Hills. c. Long-term goal – To be established once the data sets from DTE are reviewed.
3. Priority Waste
a. Priority Waste received formal written notification of quality-of-service issues.
b. Review of the Priority Waste Contract Details.
c. Review of Priority Waste Delayed Pickups Dashboard.
4. Broadband

b. Review fiber map.
c. Update on fiber service buildouts in City of Novi neighborhoods.
