Great news! The new concrete pathways at Villa Barr Art Park are now complete. Exploring the park's natural scenery and the unique artwork of David Barr is easier and more accessible than ever for everyone.
The park is absolutely beautiful this time of year! During your visit, you may see artists on the grounds painting, drawing, or repainting the park's collection of sculptures. From birds to frogs, wildlife also thrives in this amazing environment, making it a wonderful destination for both nature and art enthusiasts.
Artists interested in learning more about the artist-in-residence program can reach out to jkayser@cityofnovi.org with questions about applying for the 2027 cohort. Three spots are reserved each year for local artists, and we're always looking to support and celebrate local talent! The deadline to apply is Sept. 15, 2026.
