Road Closures - City of Novi

The City of Novi requires a Road Closure Permit Application when the partial or full closure of a road is necessitated. Examples of items requiring permits may include, but are not limited to: Neighborhood Block Parties, Parades, Film Productions, Races and Special Events. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the qualifications surrounding your application please contact the Department of Public Works at 248-735-5640. Road Closure Permit Application

For Subdivision Road closures permit application must be submitted 7 days prior to closure.

For County/City Road closures permit applications must be submitted 14 days prior to closure.

If above timelines are not met, the closure may not be approved by the date requested.
