Description

The Wixom Road Rehabilitation Project includes almost two miles of asphalt resurfacing, adding a left turn lane from Kelsey Bay Dr. to Drakes Bay Dr., as well as a new concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer upgrades, and sidewalk ramp ADA upgrades.

Traffic on Wixom Road from Grand River to 10 Mile is northbound only and closed to southbound traffic.

Road Closure

Throughout the project, one lane of northbound-only traffic on Wixom Rd. will be maintained between 10 Mile Rd. and Grand River. There will be no Southbound traffic allowed on Wixom Rd. during this project. Please follow the posted detour or use an alternate route. Residents living in the work zone on the side being worked on may have intermittent access to their driveways while work is directly in front of their homes.

Detour

The posted detour for southbound Wixom Road is east on Grand River; south on Beck Road; and west on 10 Mile Road.
