Description:
The City of Novi recently became aware of a sanitary sewer break at a service line located at 325 South Lake Drive. As a result, the city in cooperation with the Oakland County Water Resources Commission (WRC) has developed an emergency plan to repair the affected sewer line. Unfortunately, to make the repair South Lake Drive must be completely closed to traffic in both directions within the work area.
Road Closures:
Starting April 15, 2024, South Lake Drive will be closed to all traffic in both directions at 325 South Lake Drive. Residents east of this location must access their homes from 13 Mile/Old Novi Road. Those residing west of this location must access their homes from West Park Drive.
Detour:
The posted detour for westbound traffic is south on Old Novi Rd to westbound 12 Mile Rd. to northbound West Park Drive. to eastbound South Lake Drive.
All Lakeshore Park traffic will have to enter the park from West Park Dr. to eastbound South Lake Drive starting April 15, 2024, until the repair is complete.
