The petitioner is requesting a variance to allow installation of one (1)
additional 18 square foot wall sign on the south elevation of the building
Section 28-5 (3) states: “Number of on premise advertising signs permitted: states: “No building or parcel of land shall be allowed more than one (1) sign permitted under this section….”
IN CASE NO 10-007 Motion to approve the variance as requested.
The approval is specific for the 18 SF sign to be located on the rear
(south elevation) of the building above the overhead doors at
5-1 (YES: Ghannam, Ibe, Krieger, Skelcy and Wrobel NO: Gedeon)
Member Krieger asks about the zoning for Fountain Walk in regards to the lighting requirements at night. The area in question is between Chuckie Cheese and the Putting Edge in the back area. There is a fenced in area that is very dark. I feel this is a safety issue because we keep hearing that kids are going out at night and fighting.
Mr. Boulard stated that he would gladly check into this matter.
