Kulikowski was joined by 45 other law enforcement professionals representing 38 different communities from throughout Michigan.

“The SPSC program provides excellent leadership and problem solving skills,” said Kulikowski. “I am very proud of my accomplishment and look forward to bringing my new skills back to the Novi Police Department and implementing them throughout the organization.”

The School of Police Staff and Command Executive Leadership Program provides upper-level academic instruction in a total of five core, or mandatory blocks of instruction and utilizes over 30 additional optional blocks of instruction during each session. Major topics of study include Leadership Development, Planning and Decision Making, Human Resource Management, Administration of the Police Agency, and Critical Incidents and Homeland Security. The program has graduated over 2,000 students since its creation in 1985.

“I am extremely proud of Sgt. Kulikowski’s professional and leadership accomplishments,” said Novi Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police David E. Molloy. “The Staff and Command program prepares our team with the education and training needed to lead the Novi Police Department, while enhancing public trust with the community members of Novi.”
