May 2018 - Officer Julie Warren
Public Safety Employee of the Month - Officer Julie Warren
I wish to extend my appreciation and congratulations to you on your nomination and selection as the Novi Public Safety Employee of the Month – May 2018. You were nominated by Sergeant Jason Meier and selected by the Public Safety Innovation Committee for your planning, coordination, and unwavering support of the Novi Police Department 2018 Spring Palooza.
On May 18, 2018, the City of Novi along with the Novi Police Department held its annual Spring Palooza open house event. This year, the open house experienced record attendance but due to your forecasting, scheduling, and leadership skills, this year’s event was seamless. You ensured volunteers had adequate breaks for food and water, knew exactly where they were stationed, and clearly defined their specific jobs. You coordinated the games, activities, static displays, food vendors, and all educational demonstrations for the evening. You also managed to prepare for the event while performing your normal required duties on patrol. The success of the event was apparent and witnessed by observing the smiling faces of the men, women, and children who were in attendance.
Julie, you continually exemplify the City of Novi Police Department’s Mission, Vision and Values, in your coordination with our federal, state, county, and local partners as well as members of the community. If not for your hard work ethic, planning, leadership, and willingness to take on this extra responsibilities this year’s event, it would not have been such a great success. The full-time fire and police command officers and administrators congratulate you on being named Public Safety Employee of the Month – May, 2018.
