AUDIENCE COMMENT – In order to hear all citizen comments at a reasonable hour, the City Council requests that speakers respect the three-minute time limit. This is not a question-answer session. However, it is an opportunity to voice your thoughts with City Council. Speakers wishing to display visual materials through the City’s audiovisual system must provide the materials to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 12:00 P.M. the day of the meeting. The materials cannot be changed before the meeting. 

CONSENT AGENDA REMOVALS AND APPROVALS – All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the normal Agenda.   

MATTERS FOR COUNCIL ACTION 

1. Consideration of recommendation from the Older Adults Needs Committee to subsidize senior transportation medical rides through People’s Express for residents age 55+ and for any individual with a limiting disability who cannot drive beginning July 1, 2024.

2. Consideration of approval to award the contract for landscaping services on city-owned properties to KBK Landscaping for a one-year term with two one-year renewal options for $232,390.

3. Approval to move forward with a Co-Responder Program with Oakland County Mental Health Network (OCHN) and approval to submit a grant through the Department of Justice to support the cost of the Program and to use Opioid Settlement funds to help offset the City’s share of the Program.

H. Approval to purchase a three-year subscription to Arctic Wolf Networks, Inc. network security software through People Driven Technology for an estimated annual amount of $75,717. This is subject to the final approval of the form and terms of the contract by the City Manager and City Attorney.
