The Novi Police Department offers a Civilian Pistol Safety Class several times per year.  This course fulfills both the classroom and shooting requirements to obtain a Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Students must bring their own equipment, including a personal handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, safety glasses, and shooter’s earmuffs or ear plugs.

Participants must be 21 years old and do not have to be a Novi resident to attend. Register by completing this application or registration forms are also available at the Novi Police Department. Class size is limited and all participants are subject to a criminal background check. The $200 course fee may be paid by cash or money order.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
• Personal hand gun (weapons will not be provided)
• 100 rounds of ammunition
• Safety Glasses
• Shooter’s earmuffs or ear plugs
• Pen or pencil
• Baseball Cap
• Loose comfortable clothing appropriate for range
