Shelter Rental Policies
 Residents may reserve the
facilities beginning January 7, 2008, non-resident reservations
begin April 1, 2008.- A complete list of park rules and regulations will be provided
upon registration.
- A resident is defined as any person that:
- Lives within the City of Novi.
- Owns land within the City, for which property taxes are
paid.
- Works full time at a Novi place of business.
- Proof of residency is required in the form of a driver’s
license, tax bill with identification, or a paycheck stub from a
Novi business with identification.
- Residents may not make reservations on behalf of a
non-resident group (i.e. club or church outside of city limits).
- The facilities may not be reserved by the same person/group,
more than once a month, in season.
- Off-season reservations shall be taken on a limited services
basis (tents are not available at Lakeshore Park).
- Payment is required in full at time of reservation.
- All reservations are made on a per day basis, during normal
park hours 8:00am to dusk.
- Once a group vacates the facility, the reservation agreement
is terminated.
- Tents at Lakeshore Park are 20 x 30 each.
 Cancellation and Refund
- If a reservation is cancelled more than two weeks prior to
confirmed date, a full refund will be given, providing the
facility is re-reserved by the original reservation date.
- If a reservation is cancelled less than two weeks prior to
confirmed date, a full refund will be given minus a 15%
administrative fee, providing the facility is re-reserved by the
original reservation date.
- If at any time a reservation is cancelled and the facility is
not re-reserved by the original reservation date, no refund will
be issued.
- Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to inclement
weather.
Shelter Prices
Enjoy an afternoon with your family in one of the City of Novi’s
quality parks. The time between Memorial Day and Labor Day is
considered "in season." Prices listed are for
resident/non-resident.
