is pleased to announce the release of the enhanced MVIC
website. Voters can now see if they are registered,
the location of their precinct and sample ballots.

Picture Identification Now Required to
Vote!
The Michigan Supreme Court ruled on July 18, 2007 that a
provision of Michigan election law that is constitutional
and enforceable now requires voters to either present
picture identification or sign an affidavit if they do not
have picture identification with them.

To the qualified electors of the City of Novi, County of
Oakland, State of Michigan:
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that
the Novi City Clerk’s office, 45175 W. Ten Mile Road, Novi, MI
48375, will be open MONDAY, July 9, 2012, from 8:00am TO
5:00pm as the last day to register to vote in the August 7, 2012
Primary.
If you are not currently registered to vote
in the City of Novi at your current address, you may do so in
any of the following ways:
In Person:
- At the Novi City Clerk’s Office, 45175 W. Ten Mile Road
or at the office of any County Clerk during normal business
hours.
- At any of the Secretary of State Branch Offices located
throughout the State during normal business hours.
Registration Applications Available Online to Register by
Mail:
Mail-in voter registration applications may be obtained by
clicking here. Complete the form, sign and deliver it to the
Novi City Clerk at 45175 W. Ten Mile Road, Novi, MI 48375 by the
close of registration deadline, July 9, 2012
Note:
Persons who register to vote by mail are required to vote the
first time in person unless they have previously voted in person
in the State of Michigan or are at least 60 years of age or are
physically unable to attend the polls.
The August 7, 2012
Primary election will be conducted in all voting precincts of
the City of Novi for the purpose of nominating candidates of all
participating parties and for the purpose of electing Delegates
to the County convention of the Republican and Democratic:
