In this story of Hansel and Gretel the birds and the little gnomes, under the spell of the wicked witch, are forced to coax children away so that the wicked Witch can eat them. When the children’s father returns home without food or money the whole family goes berry picking. The children become lost in the woods, and the birds and gnomes put them to sleep until the Witch comes. This classic has lasted the test of time! Twenty actors will grace the stage throughout the production from Novi and the neighboring towns of Northville, Walled Lake, Commerce Township, Livonia, and Wixom.

Lauren Nowakowski, Performing Arts Coordinator for the City of Novi is proud of the work the cast has done to deliver a great show. “I made my acting debut in Hansel and Gretel, so the production is really dear to my heart. It is exciting to bring this classic to new audiences,” says Nowakowski.

Tickets are $12/adults, $10/children and seniors. All seats are reserved. For more information, please call the Novi Parks office at 248-347-0400.
