NOVI, Michigan, August 17, 2010– Act fast to enjoy Thanks for the Memories: A USO Tribute Show presented by the Novi Civic Theatre. The annual senior production is always a sell out and there are a limited number of tickets still available for both the luncheon and matinee performances.
Luncheon performances:
Thursday, September 9
& 16, 12pm, $20
Friday, September 10 & 17, 12pm, $20
Matinee performances:
Sunday, September 12 &
19, 2pm, $15
The show is guaranteed to make you smile as fifty young-at-heart performers will dazzle you with songs and skits inspired by the incredible USO performances of the 40’s and 50’s. Sing along to familiar songs such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”, “I’ll be Seeing You”, and “Sentimental Journey”, and of course, Bob Hope will be making an appearance.
Tickets can be purchased online at cityofnovi.org or at the Novi Parks box office (located in the Novi Civic Center). Group rates available; purchase 15 tickets; get one free for the same performance. All performances will be held at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. Ten Mile Road, between Taft and Novi Roads.
