The Novi Parks Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation that assists the Novi Parks Department by raising funds to support park projects, recreational opportunities and the scholarship program. In early 2005, The Novi City Council, the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Commission, the Parks Foundation, and City staff identified the opportunity to generate additional funds for the park system through the development of a naming rights program. City Council approved a naming rights policy and the Parks Foundation Naming Rights Committee continues to enter agreements with the private sector through the Naming Rights Program. Other Novi Parks Foundation Naming Rights donors include ITC Holdings, Inc. (ITC Community Sports Park) and Tom Holzer Ford (Holzer Field at Power Park).
