The City of Novi is turning up the temperature this summer with an expanded art series for 2009. Eleven dates are scheduled throughout the summer and there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
Staying around town this summer? Travel the world with the Thursday night concerts at Lakeshore Park (601 South Lake Drive). Each concert has an international theme and will have family-friendly activities before the performance. Tuesday morning puppets at Lakeshore Park are sure to start the day off with a giggle, follow with a swim at the beach and a picnic for a picture perfect summer day. Friday night Movies in the Park are back this year. Show times are at dusk, but arrive early to enjoy fun crafts and games. Be sure to vote for your favorite movie to be shown on August 21.
Food vendors will be on site at each event, perfect for an easy, economical meal for the whole family. The Sizzling Summer Art Series is presented in partnership with ITC, Novi Public Library, Town and Country Eyecare, Putting Edge, Art Institute of Michigan, and Novi Co-Op Pre- School.
