Award Ceremony

NOVI, Mich., May 8, 2008 – The Novi Police Department will
recognize the year’s best of its exceptional work force when it
hosts the annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 14, at 3:00pm.
The Award Ceremony will take place in the Novi Police Department
Training Center, located at 45125 W. Ten Mile Road, between Taft and
Novi Roads.
The Novi Police Department will recognize its 2007 Civilian
Employee of the Year, as well as its 2007 Police Officer of the
Year. Several other distinguished service, meritorious service and
life saving awards will be presented. Officer Jeff Brown and K-9
Yukon will also be recognized for their seven years of service to
the Novi Community.
“The men and women of the Novi Police Department pride themselves
on providing the best service possible for our community,” commented
Novi Chief of Police David E. Molloy. “It is my honor to recognize
the outstanding men and women of the Novi Police Department. Their
professional and dedicated service to our community helps provide a
safe environment in which people can live, work and play. The Novi
Community is very fortunate to have these individuals serving them
on a daily basis.”
The Novi Police Department has recognized the Officer of the Year
since 1973 and its Civilian Employee of the Year since 2000.
