Office Safety Seminar

NOVI, Mich., April 25, 2008 – On Thursday, May 8, the Novi Police
Department will host an Office Safety Seminar from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
in the Novi Civic Center Council Chambers. The Civic Center is
located at 45175 W. Ten Mile Road, in between Taft and Novi Roads.
This FREE seminar will provide citizens and business partners the
opportunity to learn how to better protect themselves, their
families, co-workers and visitors. The interactive session will
discuss topics such as crime prevention and violence in the work
place, emergency preparedness and how to handle natural disasters.
"The men and women of the Novi Police Department pride themselves
in being partners with all aspects of the community – residents,
businesses and schools," Novi Chief of Police David E. Molloy
stated. "It is through these partnerships we create a safe community
in which to work, live and play. This educational program will offer
safety tips for the entire community."
