Novi Police Investigate Potential Homicide

At 4:21am, the Novi Police Department received a phone call regarding an incident at a home in the 29000 block of Rousseau Drive in the Oakland Glens Mobile Home Community. Upon arrival, it was determined a female, a 21-year-old resident, was killed. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services personnel. Injuries to the woman indicated a possible homicide. A second victim, a 6-7 month old baby, was also located and transported for medical treatment.
The matter remains under investigation by Novi Police detectives and Michigan State Police crime scene technicians. An autopsy will be performed by the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office.
