Can You Gear Me? Try before you buy outdoor equipment swap/sale

NOVI, Mich., March 20, 2017 – Birds are chirping and the days are getting longer, signaling the warm weather outdoor recreation season. The Novi area is home to thousands of outdoor enthusiasts with access to mountain biking, camping, hiking, and water activities. Enthusiasts are always looking to buy, sell or trade gear, and can do so at the first-ever Can You Gear Me? swap/sale at Lakeshore Park, 601 South Lake Drive, on Sunday, May 7, from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.
The swap/sale will be conducted similar to a mom-to-mom sale with the unique opportunity to demo gear on Walled Lake, the multi-use hiking trails, kids beginner single track, or the 10 miles of mountain bike trail with a pump track and plenty of features.
Outdoor gear that is clean and in good repair may be included in the swap/sale. Gear includes bikes and cycling gear; backpacks; tents; sleeping bags; sleeping pads; stuff sacks; hiking boots/shoes; GPS units; outdoor clothing; camp stoves; backpacking cook gear; cots; coolers; chairs; roll-up tables; wetsuits; binoculars; trail guides; trekking poles; hammocks; air mattresses; day packs; bivy sacks; fishing rods and gear; lifejackets; kayaks; paddleboards; and canoes.
The seller fee is $15 and includes a 10x20’ space, one six-foot table and two chairs. Set-up for the sale will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Seller registration
