Novi continues to maintain the natural resources that make the community a beautiful and healthy place to reside and conduct business. Preservation of wetlands, woodlands, water features, and open spacces supports native species, sustains natural ecological processes, maintains air and water resources, and contributes to our health and quality of life. Conserving natural features can produce economic dividends for communities, businesses, and residents, as well as, providing a framework for sustainable development. In addition to the conservation of existing features, the City of Novi also completes yearly plantings of trees throughout the community.
