The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will be milling portions of Haggerty Road from 10 Mile to 14 Mile and then placing an 1 1/2-inches of new asphalt on top of the existing pavement. This is called a Pavement Preservation Overlay which is low cost, but a shorter term life expectancy. Please visit the Road Commission for Oakland County's web page for more information
All work will be performed utilizing flag control personnel. Therefore, no detours, but motorists should expect longer delays while work is in progress.
Placement of the new asphalt pavement is now complete. Final shoulder grading and pavement markings will take place next week.
