Spring Break Art Camp

Through art media exploration your child will explore their imagination and expand their creative process in this foundation focused camp. There will be an artist showcase on Friday to highlight the work done throughout the week. Before and after care is available from 8-9am and 4-5pm each day for a $50 fee. Registration for before/after care is an option during registration for the camp.

Abrakadoodle Art Classes - Doodlers

We experience art from the tops of our heads to the tips of our toes. We learn about Israeli artist Gil Sadeh who creates lip, eye and nose sculptures. We’ll use Model Magic® to create a mouth with expression! The work of fingerprint artist Chuck Close will be explored while we create interesting landscapes using our hands and fingertips. And even our feet to yet create another work of art! Enjoy this fun art class creating body of art!!

The Novi Choralaires

Do you love to sing? Would you like to meet new people and take part in sharing the joy of music within our community? Join the Novi Choralaires! This is a community chorus of men and women from Novi and the surrounding area, who perform concerts for the public and at many community events. The current up-coming season is January through May, 2019, with rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 P.M.

The Choralaires are seeking new members for all voice parts. Open rehearsals for the 2019 January through May season will be held on Tuesday, January 8 and Tuesday, January 15, at 7:30 P.M. held at the Novi Middle School choir classroom located at 49000 West Eleven Mile at Wixom Road in Novi.

The Choralaires will present a combined concert with the Novi Band in March at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. 10 Mile Rd.The Choralaires will also perform mini concerts at other venues in the local area and their spring concert will be presented on Saturday, May 11 at 7:30 P.M. in the Novi Civic Center.

Novi Civic Dance

The program is open for registration and is accepting new and returning students. The spring recital is currently scheduled for April 28, 2019. The recital and costume fees are combined with the class registration, so everything is included minus tights and shoes. Hip Hop and Jazz Workshop

Get the best of both styles in this fun fusion class! Students will begin with a classic jazz warm up, in which they will learn isolations and work on flexibility. Then, they’ll learn jazz progressions across the floor, including leaps, kicks, and turns. Finally, they’ll work on hip hop moves and tricks, and put it altogether in a final performance with elements from both styles.

Easy Folk Guitar

Within six weeks you will learn how to play simple tunes on the acoustic guitar. You will be taught to read a tablature and learn some easy strum patterns. This will enable you to learn to play dozens of songs, provided you put in some daily practice time. Acoustic or classical guitars are preferred. Finger nails on left hand should be trimmed short.
