Novi Civic Dance

The program is open for registration and is accepting new and returning students. The spring recital is currently scheduled for April 28, 2019. The recital and costume fees are combined with the class registration, so everything is included minus tights and shoes. Ballet Folklórico México Lindo

This fun fairytale dance class introduces ballet fundamentals to young beginning dancers. Participants will have story time and learn dance basics, all while wearing their favorite princess dress. Lion King JR Auditions

Auditions at Novi Civic Center

Pre-register your child for auditions at cityofnovi.org/art (no cost) starting Dec 29. Audition packet also available online at cityofnovi.org/art starting Jan 7. If cast, actors are expected to pay the registration fee before rehearsals begin. There is a mandatory parent meeting on Jan 29 at 7pm. Price includes most costume pieces, scripts, music, cast photo, and cast T-shirt. Rehearsals are generally scheduled for Tuesday/Saturday or Thursday/Saturday and a detailed schedule will be developed after casting. Show dates are scheduled for May 2-5.

Novi Civic Youth Theatre Audition Workshop

The audition process can be a little scary, especially for those who are new to the theatre. During the audition workshop we will teach the performers the material (songs and/or dance) that will be used during the audition. The Workshop is drop-in, so come when you can, stay as long as you like.

Young Stars Theatre

The Novi Choralaires

Do you love to sing? Would you like to meet new people and take part in sharing the joy of music within our community? Join the Novi Choralaires! This is a community chorus of men and women from Novi and the surrounding area, who perform concerts for the public and at many community events. The current up-coming season is January through May, 2019, with rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 P.M.

The Choralaires are seeking new members for all voice parts. Open rehearsals for the 2019 January through May season will be held on Tuesday, January 8 and Tuesday, January 15, at 7:30 P.M. held at the Novi Middle School choir classroom located at 49000 West Eleven Mile at Wixom Road in Novi.

The Choralaires will present a combined concert with the Novi Band in March at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. 10 Mile Rd.The Choralaires will also perform mini concerts at other venues in the local area and their spring concert will be presented on Saturday, May 11 at 7:30 P.M. in the Novi Civic Center.
