Community Assessment Survey for Older Adults
|
The National Citizen Survey™ (The NCS) is a collaborative effort between National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). The NCS was developed by NRC to provide a statistically valid survey of resident opinions about community and services provided by local government. The survey results may be used by staff, elected officials and other stakeholders for community planning and resource allocation, program improvement and policy making.
The NCS focuses on a series of community characteristics and local government services, as well as issues of public trust. Resident behaviors related to civic engagement in the community also were measured in the survey. Read the full reports below.

On October 10, 2007, the City of Novi was made aware of the existence of an anonymous, offensive comment, contained in a compilation of verbatim survey responses in a citizen survey from 2006 posted on this site. The survey responses were provided to the City of Novi through a third party survey consulting organization. All of the anonymous responses were compiled together in a sixteen page report. The entire report has been removed from this website. The City did not and does not endorse the remarks or any others in the report.
